When you register for a resource, workshop, or waitlist, the following information is collected:

  • First name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Company name (optional)
  • Job role (optional)

No payment information, sensitive personal data, or government identification is collected through this website.

3. Why this information is collected

Your personal information is collected solely to deliver the resource or communication you requested — such as sending a PDF checklist, confirming workshop registration, or notifying you of cohort availability. You will not be added to any email list without your explicit consent.

4. Legal basis for processing (Law 25 / LPRPSP)

Personal information is collected and processed on the basis of your explicit, freely given consent. You provide this consent by checking the consent box on any signup form on this website. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing via the link in any email or by contacting me@simonparis.ca.

5. Data processor and storage location

Email communications are managed through MailerLite, a service operated by Patagona GmbH (UAB MailerLite). Your personal information is stored on servers located in the United States. By providing your consent on a signup form, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and stored in the United States, outside of Quebec and Canada.

MailerLite's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at mailerlite.com.

6. How long your information is kept

Your information is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Upon unsubscription, your data is deleted from active lists within 30 days. You may also request immediate deletion by contacting me@simonparis.ca.

7. Sharing of personal information

Your personal information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is shared only with MailerLite for the purpose of delivering the communications you requested.

8. Cookies and tracking

This website uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that collects aggregate page view data (URL, referrer, device type, country). It does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, and does not collect personally identifiable information. No consent banner is required.

9. Your rights

Under Quebec Law 25 (LPRPSP), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information held about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI)
